Tested before shipment, traceable by batch

When a downhole part fails, the rig time to trip out and back in costs far more than the part itself. Every batch is checked for material, dimensions, sealing performance and function, and the records are kept.

What we check on every batch

• Material — grade, heat number and material certificate, matched one to one with the finished part.
• Dimensions — critical dimensions checked 100%, the rest sampled, with a dimensional inspection report issued.
• High-temperature ageing of seals — ageing and compression set testing at the applicable temperature class. A batch that fails is held back in full.
• Bench testing of working parts — rotors and stators, valve parts and the like are run up to design conditions on the test bench, and the test records are kept.
• Batch traceability — the batch number on every package pulls up all of the records above.
